Martham Church
The biggest church in the Circuit, Martham Methodist Church was built in 1880 at the heart of the village. Very picturesque, the village is built around broad, tree shaded greens and 2 duck ponds. Towards Somerton can be seen one very large electricity generating wind turbine, and beyond that, the host of smaller turbines on Blood Hill. There is some car parking in the Coop car park nearly opposite the church. The Church is a brisk 10 minute walk from the Ferry Staithe, and 15 minutes from the other Staithe at the foot of Cess Road. Our noticeboard announces all our special events.
Every visitor is very welcome.
