East Anglia District of the Methodist Church

Welcome! And welcome to the East Anglia District!

I have been privileged to serve the District since September 2003. Previously, I was a minister in the North Walsham & Aylsham Circuit and learned to love this part of the world; the excitement of ministry here and the joy of serving God in a beautiful part of the world.

East Anglia is often referred to as ‘the land of the big skies’. The colours in the sky, at various time of the year, are magnificent and a constant reminder of God’s covenant with His people and the rainbow nature of His love.

If you are looking for a church to visit or join in East Anglia, I hope you will use this site to discover more about all that is on offer and I’m pretty confident that - whichever Methodist Church you go to - you will receive a warm welcome! And, if you don’t, please let me know! My e-mail address is grahamthompson@eamethodist.org.uk

Welcome and enjoy!

With every good wish,

Graham
Chair of District

It's for YOU – “For You”
The third European Methodist Festival takes place in Krakow on 8-12 August 2012. It is for everyone; children and adults, individuals and families.

We will meet in workshops, seminars, Wesley (small) groups and prayer groups, at Morning Praise and in night cafés, at Gospel workshops and informal coffee sessions at the ‘EMK-Mobil’. Sports and games will also be offered. A guided tour of the city and trips to nearby sights (e.g. the Auschwitz memorial site) are being planned.

More information about the European Methodist Festival or contact Anne-Marie Hollomann.
